... because today's Sunday...

Take a seat. Sit back. Relax. Listen to some especial, really good music. Perhaps that very one you've been humming in your mind for such a long time now. Do some nonchalant reading, nice and smooth. Nothing too complicated or demanding too much from your brain cells. At the same time, have a delicious cup of coffee or tea. Drink it slowly, in short, flavoursome sips. And, most important of all, celebrate with serenity the amazing fact of being alive.

If you happen to have someone by your side enjoy his presence and his company and his conversation and his effect on you. Don't ever let such a moment glide by without being a part of it. Be fully aware of that memorable instant.

If you feel like interrupting what you're doing, so be it.
«Take the hours as they come. / Nobody brings them back to you
(Original: «Nimm die Stunden wie sie kommen. / Niemand bringt sie dir zurück.»)

After being gentle and tender to each other the world will show you its brightest colours, your soul will be much lighter, and you'll feel in perfect harmony with the Universe.

It's the consciousness of this simplicity that makes us humans so especial.
If we listened to its voice more often we wouldn't need all the time so much crap as we think we do.
We would be happy, and the world serene.

Seize the day and the night…

Carpe diem noctemque…

(Inspired by Alberto Caeiro, Fernando Pessoa's most important heteronym.)

This is so true!?

Thanks I'm doing that right now!?

I hope you are too!?

No someone yet, or close enough but it's ok, time alone to enjoy myself is always good.

Have fun and rest well my friend!?

Love,

J

You are a «sweet thing», Joel! Yes, as a matter of fact I'm doing it right now, even though sitting at my desk in front of my laptop/notebook (beats me...), drinking coffee, smoking (btw, it's time to go out to buy some more), browsing through French blogs (nothing interesting yet), and feeling okay with myself... You know, I'm not so sage as Fernando Pessoa...
Love you too! :-)

:-)

palavras...

Sim, gosto de música clássica. Como costumo dizer aprendi a gostar, assim como o Jazz. A propósito, hoje, ouço Bernando Sassetti , «Indigo».
Quanto ao quereres saber mais, estou aqui. 'Apita' :-)

Eu estou a ouvir Rachmaninov! E vou escrever sobre ele!
