Ai home, tu matas-me!!!!
Tenho de ler isto com mais calma...
Olá Ny!
Thanks a lot! You're most kind indeed... :-)
Well that stupid idiot stinking up the white house is giving your proposition a go. Bush and his crime family government HATE America, HATE Americans, and HATE anything that smells of rule of law, democracy, and all things good and decent in human nature (i.e. much of what you describe). He is the ugliest vermin there is – easily a match for any human filth that any other nation can match up against him in a race to the bottom of human nature.
Left you a nice comment on the Limelite post. Cheers. Cat is fed (0ne can).
Not much farther, I don't think. Though, of course, anything is possible.

Recognise anything?
Hello Will!
That's exactly why I decided to do this post: generally speaking, we're somehow forgotten of what democracy really stands for... Which means we all should do an upgrade by going back to basics - Ancient Greece!
Thanks a lot for caring so well for Kristeva! But never forget: she's a feline, with a mind of her own!... :-)
A great week for you!
Dear Minge, thank you so very much for that moving post!... I did like it very much.
Maybe my question is not so well put, but what I mean is that we in the western world have become quite distant from the values and principles that true democracy implies. One of these days we may be living in a parliamentary dictatorship without even noticing it...
Best wishes, dear fabulous friend! :-)
Selfishness, power and money.
Me, myself and I.
That's what the problem is.
Merci bien, mon cher!
Je pense à toi! :-)
A parliamentary dictatorship, indeed. Just look at turnouts in recent elections. I think we should be like Australia where voting is compulsory.
Check out the Scottish Parliament. We have a minority government just now. How democratic is that?
Quite true, Minge! I agree with you: voting should be compulsory, doubtlessly, due to the lack of active citizenship. As far as I know, it is in Belgium and in Brazil as well.
Then again, we have here an absolute «socialist« (ah, ah! Lol!) majority in Parliament, and the «show» couldn't be of a worse quality...
Hugs! :-)
