I. Kingdomality Personal Preference Profile...

Your distinct personality – The White Knight – might be found in most of the thriving kingdoms of the Middle Ages.
Don Quixote de la Mancha was a White Knight as was Joan of Arc, the Lone Ranger and Crusader Rabbit.
As a White Knight you expect nothing in return for your good deeds. You are one of the true «Givers» of the world. You are the anonymous philanthropist who shares your wealth, your time and your life with others. To give is its own reward, and as a White Knight you seek no other.
On the positive side you are merciful, sympathetic, helpful, giving and heroic.
On the negative side you may be impulsively decisive, sentimental and misdirected. Interestingly, your preference is just as applicable in today's corporate kingdoms.

(From «Green Acres» by Sam)

Is it now? Really? I wonder… Or better said: I do doubt entirely about that...

I'm a white knight too. However, I'm the kind of white knight who does the test again, answering as untruthfully as I can.

The anti-me is a Merchant.

Your distinct personality, The Merchant, might be found in most of the thriving kingdoms of the time. Your overriding goal is to always be competitive, for Merchants are the deal makers. Every situation is realistically analyzed for its profit potential. A well executed deal, even one that is profitable for all participants, can be its own reward for many Merchants. On the positive side you can be logically practical, rational and realistic. On the negative side you may be rigidly dogmatic as well as unmerciful and precipitous. Interestingly, your preference is just as applicable in today's corporate kingdoms.

I find personality test are much more revealing if you lie.

I just don't lie anymore, because I can guess the outcome as I'm going through the questions. Some of tests aren't even the least exciting, like this one. If you lie they'll show you what you despise, unless...
I cannot stand manichaeanisms, black & white sceneries, whatever...
Yes, Captain, I guess I'm rather bored today...
Nice Sunday!

Here is what I got on this test:

Your distinct personality, The Benevolent Ruler might be found in most of the thriving kingdoms of the time. You are the idealistic social dreamer. Your overriding goal is to solve the people problems of your world. You are a social reformer who wants everyone to be happy in a world that you can visualize. You are exceptionally perceptive about the woes and needs of humankind. You often have the understanding and skill to readily conceive and implement the solutions to your perceptions.

I do not get chances to use French. Instead, I am around Spanish speakers on occasion and try to learn bits of it. I like Spanish a lot. It is becoming a very big part of American culture.

The painting copy I had for this one was not the best image. I try not to bug Tony to often to send me the BIG copies, which of course have finer image detail and always look better that a small copy. I think this one suffers from lack of detail and does not look as good in the PDF.

RIC disse...

So you are one of the rare Benevolent Rulers... I don't like that much being called D. Quijote or Jeanne d'Arc, but the truth is that I'm really some times like them...
En los Estados Unidos del futuro, se no hablas Español, te quedarás muy mal, por causa de toda la gente que ya lo habla...
It was no big deal though, Will! When there are many details on a picture/painting, maybe it's better first to look at them as a whole. I'm not sure.
Thanks a lot, Will! The PDF is superb!

These test can never be taken seriously. Some answers will apply, but so will the answers from another profil.

I think we are a bit of everything, everybody.

Yes. I think the incorporation of Spanish blood into the US (it has always been here, but now it is BIG and mainstream) is the most exciting thing to happen here in ages. Great, vital, colorful, sexy blood. The little children being born now are so exotic and beautiful -- these caramel skinned blonds.

Well, North Korea has just set of a nuke. Another gift from that stupid idiot we have as president (Dubya).

Hawaii has a lot of Portuguese blood in their mix. I knew one Mormon missionary who was half Hawaiian and half Portuguese. Oh my god he was beautiful – his spirit and his looks. Very humble and on the quiet side. His last name was Vivas.

Been reading about the great Lisbon earthquake of the 1700’s. Scary stuff.

I slept two hours this afternoon. Felt under the weather myself. Got up, had a good cry (still grieving), bought some smoked salmon (food is one way into my heart), bought the pulls for the new kitchen cabinets, ate teh salmon, did laundry, folded it an put it away, and now I am winding down.

Took a pic I need to down load and send to you of something in my kitchen. You will recongnize it when you see it.

I just had some serious trouble to get back to my blog... I know it's my fault: I shouldn't publish some texts in Portuguese that I know will rock some hypocrites. Well, some must have flagged the blog, so I did what I usually do: I changed the title of the post... This country loves to live in the Middle Ages, I just can't understand so much voluntary ignorance...
When you say set off, do you mean made it explode?... Oh my God...
And yes, that was a huge catastrophe too, in 1755... God save us all from such a horror...
I'll await patiently your kitchen's pic, though I'm quite curious...
Have a nice week!

RIC disse...

This test, JOËL, and so many others I've taken or just read through... The minute you start pondering about the given alternatives you can immediately figure out what the possible outcomes will be... Boring!...
It also means you can cheat at ease... Which just casts me away from these things.
Have the best possible week!
I am here for you! :-)

i think i may take a sick day tomorrow to get caught up on...WORK (brought some home).

Will try to download the pics. The driver reeatedly blows up XP Pro which always puts me in a bad mood.

Yes, "Set Off" meeant explode. Another usage is "to make one angry". Example: When the person intentionally spilled the red port wine on my white carpets, it set me off.

RIC disse...

Yes, Will, absolutely! But who ever told you you should allow people drink red wine in a place of yours with white carpets...? Or even better: that you should ever buy white carpets at all? (lol)

Don't you tell me anything whatsoever about PC's and softwere!!! I'm so furious I could throw my notebook out of the window... if it only hadn't cost so much money! Service Pack 2 for Windows XP (Home Edition) just blocked almost everything in the machine. OmG! I did think I'd need professional help... But I did manage to solve the problems all by myself, I wonder how up till now...
I'll be waiting patiently for your photos! And just don't get too sick...

I have many more from the last two photo shoots to send. It was abnormally fertile with many keepers: late summer and early fall upon the beach and forest where I live. One would not think that I am in a big urban center but I am.

I think that I will listen to Mahler's 4th while I do some work.

T-Bird disse...

Actually I have white carpets in my downstairs bedroom, and blood red walls. Perhaps someone spilled port on the walls?

RIC disse...

It's definitely a wonderful, marvellous place!
Mahler is always a fine company, which reminds me of the 5.th! First thing tomorrow morning! And then... 10 minutes in Paradise with the Adagietto, and my memories of Venice and of «Death in Venice», of course. It'll be a fine way to start the day.
As to the downstairs bedroom... Well, blood red walls, white carpets... My imagination just set off and left me behind, the ungrateful...
Best wishes!
