I. Saturday Eye Candy…

For your eyes only…

Beauty has always been in the eyes of the one who sees, right?…

Beauty has always been in the eyes. Period.

I'd quite easily melt down being looked at by eyes like these... Then again, who wouldn't?

Help yourself! Gaze lavishly! They'll love it, I'm sure!

Eu diria quase tudo está no olhar...
Na beleza do olhar...
Bom fim-de-semana.

Behold the beauty....

I believe in the importance of looking someone directly in the eyes while speaking.... I'm afraid of what my eyes would tell these two gentlemen if I had the opportunity to look them in the eyes in person!

Have a wonderful weekend or....
Bonne fin de semaine... or
Bom fim de semana!

Gee, it's not so difficult after all!

Abraço

Olá dear Don!
Muito bem! Muito bem! :-)
I'm really enjoying this new situation very much! One of these days I'll be reading a comment by you in Portuguese! Sooner than I could ever expect! Just great!
What would they read indeed!... Personally, I'd be so mesmerized that I'm sure they'd think: «Here's another moron stupidly gazing at me! What a bore!...» Even so, I'd run the risk... Lol! Oh yes, I most definitely would...
Bom fim-de-semana to you too, dear Don!

(Learn Portuguese the easiest way: find yourself a Portuguese speaking boyfriend!)
Lol! :-D

Bom domingo!

I'm afraid a Portugese speaking boyfriend would only teach me the "language of love", dear friend.... which does not require much conversation at all!

Did you attend any of the pride festivities in Lisbon this weekend?

Have a wonderful week.....

DON~

RIC disse...

Hello dearest Don!
Welcome back, 12 hours later! :-)
I'm not so sure about that drastic restriction you mention... The language of love is no doubt redundant, since... Er, you know what I mean! Lol!
On the other hand, however, if it weren't for some boyfriends I had, I strogly believe neither my English nor my Dutch would be what they are today... And I still remember a lot of Swedish... Lol!

As to the festivities, I had in mind to go the popular party at Lisbon's main square (Praça do Comércio). Late in the afternoon (yesterday) I was given a ticket for a Philip Glass piano solo concert... I didn't even hesitate... The thing is, helas, the concert wasn't that good after all, and when it was over, I had to eat (11:00 pm), so I went home and didn't feel like going out again anymore... This is one of the differences between going on 30 and going on 50, I guess...

Uma excelente semana para ti também! :-)

That's my Ricky!!!!!

In answer to your question on my site: I am mopping floors, and drilling holes for hooks to hang mugs and making a massive to do list and making appointments for roofers and pruning the gardens...and still posting -- not sure if that is an indirect answer to your question of a dodge.

Cheers!

RIC disse...

Yes, dear Will, I'm quite satisfied as far as your complete answer is concerned. That was quite considerate of you!
Tnank you so very much!
I wish you the best possible for handling such a lowd of work!
:-)

Anónimo disse...

Oh! Demais!!!
Lindos olhos, realmente!

RIC disse...

Olá Carioca!
São, não são?... Rsrsrs! Não sei mesmo do que seria capaz por uns olhos assim... Apenas para que me iluminassem por um instante...
Abração! :-)

Going on 50..... I remember it well. I spent my 50th birthday in New Orleans. I was in a two story club and decided to take the stairs to the second story. While walking up those stairs, someone pinched my ass! I turned around to find several people behind me, none of which I knew. I said nothing, but be assured it "made my night"! OH WHAT A WONDERFUL FEELING........

Of course, a few years later I'm still getting my ass pinched, but it's by my favorite lesbian at work. It just doesn't feel the same!

DON~

RIC disse...

Oh dearest Don!
Yours is definitely one of the most touching comments I've ever read on this blog. I do mean it!
I believe I can say I experience exactly the same: while going on 30, being pinched at a gay bar was a controversial matter - not anyone was «allowed»!...
While going on 50, however, I feel flattered if it happens to be someone going on 30 to pinch me... One feels... perceived...
But the eyes still are everything to me, I'd say. And they don't need to look like those on this post; they just need to look into mine...
To create some more diversity, maybe you should go more often to a two story club in, say, Tampa bay region. As we say around here, no risk, no treat...
Thank you so very much, dear Don, for this divine moment. Believe me, I did enjoy it a lot indeed!
Hugs!
:-)
